to the needs of homicide victims and their families.

Friday September 25, 2009,marked the third annual "National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims" and the first time the event was observed in downtown Los Angeles, organizers said. The Los Angeles gathering was organized by many "parents of murdered children’s groups".
